The Educational Program For Younger Generations At The ELP!

Group 369

Field trips may be planned for several purposes:

  • 1) To provide firsthand experience in nature for leadership & confidence.
  • 2) To stimulate interest and motivation in science, nature & life.
  • 3) To add relevance to learning and interrelationships.
  • 4) To strengthen observation and perception skills
  • 5) To promote personal social development (Michie, 1998).
  • 6) To create a new experience with horses.

RESULT: create a sustainable & profound new level of social interaction skills for young people – create happiness with an unforgettable experience.

At the ELP we are offering our program participants an extra-ordinary experience with our horses with proven benefits to participants in a multitude of ways.

Our horses are Lusitanos and Andalusians and are highly-trained, yet intuitive, well-behaved & safe for everyone who has never been around a horse. They relate to our customers in a very trustworthy way.

Sabine, Founder and CEO of the ELP, guarantees a profound experience based on her 50+ years of being around horses. Horses are her life…

Why a Field Trip at the ELP?

In general, Field trips provide alternative educational opportunities for children. We offer an excellent opportunity to take a break from their normal routine and experience more hands- on-learning and creating an interactive dialogue that allows children to be in touch with majestic and the intuitive spirit of horses. The transformational aspect of this intuitive experience creates true leadership abilities within the children that participate translating into their future.

The Ranch is located in a beautiful area of the Santa Monica mountains. The children will be exposed to nature, beside from touching a horse and learning about their behaviors and instincts, they will also be around beautiful landscapes.

Since Field trips are most often done in 3 steps: preparation, activities and follow-up activity. Preparation applies to both the student and the teacher.

We are excited to work with the Teachers and take the time to learn about the group of children coming to the ELP prior to their visit and prepare this experience to an extent that the results will be memorizing and positive.

Follow-up assignments will be given to each group and are generally subject to a discussions with Sabine.
