I didn’t fully understand that until I met Kayak 🐴🔥🧡🐴

After being hit head-on by a driver who came around a mountain curve in my lane, my world changed in an instant. A traumatic brain injury. PTSD. Surgery on my fractured wrist…my surgical hand. I could barely speak. I lost vision in my right eye for a time. I was living moment to moment, just trying to find my way back.

When I approached Kayak, I thought I needed healing.

But what happened was so much deeper 🙏🙏🙏

Sabine, a magical woman who runs this program, encouraged me to stand beside him. I slowly approached him to let him know I was there then I gently walked towards his belly and stopped.

We stood together belly to belly breathing…my hands resting on his back, matching his rhythm. Breath by breath.

Stillness.

Presence.

And in that quiet space, something shifted.

I felt him.

Not in words, but in knowing.

As I stepped away I caught a glimpse of his huge dark eye and breathed in his wisdom.

It was exactly what I needed…before I even knew I needed it.

He knew.
